Emergency Communication

With CareQ, care facilities can alert all staff about an emergency that requires them to report to the facility for resident support.  Emergency messages that are written on the fly or emergency messages that are pre-written to align with facility emergency response plans.   Emergency messages include:

  • The details of the emergency.
  • A request for a response.
  • An estimated time of arrival at the facility.

Additionally, emergency messages can be sent to all staff or specific groups, depending on the nature of the emergency.  Emergency messages can also be sent to targeted contacts within specific facility neighbourhoods.

Emergency messages can be pre-written to align with the facility emergency response plan.  They also allow care facilities to determine in advance:

  • The content of an emergency message
  • To whom it should be sent
  • Whether a response and estimated time of arrival is needed.

Pre-written messages also allow staff to focus on the emergency at hand rather than struggle with communications.
