Responding with FireQ
Firefighters who respond with FireQ are letting their fellow firefighters know that they are responding, as well as their distance and when they will arrive. The FireQ responders list, which is visible from the app and the software, is list of each firefighter who responded, including their qualifications. It is colour-coded to make it easy to see the status of each firefighter.
Firefighters also need information when they are responding to a fire, and they need a way to signal their intent to respond. The FireQ app provides firefighters with many features that supply critical information when they are responding to an active incident. These features include response options, incident mapping, driving directions, safety pre-plans, benchmarks, operational strength, self-dispatch, messaging, and more.

From the Home screen of the FireQ app, firefighters see the respond options available to them. They can signal their intent to respond to the fire station or directly to the scene. They can also put themselves on hold, or decline to respond.
Firefighters who have used their app to respond appear in a Responders List that is visible to all firefighters. The Responders List is also colour-coded to make it easier to determine a firefighter’s estimated time of arrival.
